About Chess Revamped

Chess Revamped is a browser-based chess variant designed around a simple question: what happens if the king and queen switch movement styles?

The result is a faster and more tactical version of chess. The king becomes mobile and powerful, but it is still the royal piece. The queen becomes a short-range support piece. Pawns also become more aggressive because they can capture forward.

The goal of the project is to create a simple, fun, and easy-to-access chess variant that people can play directly in the browser against AI.

Current Features

• Play against Elo-style AI levels from 200 to 2500.
• Choose White, Black, or Random Side.
• Use standard or Turkish-style piece names.
• Try different time controls from Bullet to Daily.
